NOTE: This is a BETA and is in no way shape of form the final release. Please report any bugs you find on forum so we may fix them ASAP.


Version 1.3
This update REQUIRES BOTH CLIENT/SERVER TO BE REINSTALLED. If you update server, you MUST update your client as well.

Client Requirements:
====================

Option 1: (REQUIRES MODIFICATION TO MINECRAFT.JAR)

The following MUST be installed in ORDER to your minecraft.jar (Just drag contents to root of minecraft.jar)

SMP Mo Creatures Client Installation :
1. Extract the SMPMoCreatures_v1.3BETA.7z file to a temp folder. 
2. Open folder "CLIENT - COPY TO .MINECRAFT FOLDER" 
3. Copy mod/resources folders to root of .minecraft folder which is located in %APPDATA%\.minecraft.
4. Play!


Option 2: (DOES NOT REQUIRE MODIFICATION TO MINECRAFT.JAR) - Uses MCP System

1. Start with a CLEAN install of Minecraft 1.8.1

2. Copy all files from "CLIENT - COPY TO .MINECRAFT FOLDER" to your .minecraft folder.

3. Download the minecraft launcher        https://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftDownload/launcher/minecraft.jar

4. Place minecraft.jar launcher in root of .minecraft folder. Do NOT overwrite your original minecraft.jar with this.
Note: This is NOT to be confused with your original minecraft.jar, this jar serves only as a launcher to start Minecraft.

5. Download GUIAPI 0.11.1 for 1.8.1       http://bit.ly/qjXikH 

6. Download ModLoader 1.8.1               http://adf.ly/1849S 

7. Download AudioMod 1.8.1                http://adf.ly/184Ot

8. Download ModLoaderMP 1.8.1             http://adf.ly/2nuI9

9. Place GUIAPI, ModLoader 1.8.1, AudioMod 1.8.1, and ModLoaderMP 1.8.1 in your .minecraft/mods folder. (There is no need to extract any of these files, just place the zipped files in the folder.

10. If you have any additional mods that you want to use add them to your .minecraft/mods folder.

11. Double-click minecraft_modified181.jar in your .minecraft folder to play!


Server Requirements:
====================

CraftBukkit Build #1185 - http://ci.bukkit.org/job/dev-CraftBukkit/1185/artifact/target/craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar
ModLoaderMP 1.8.1 for CraftBukkit v2 - http://www.mediafire.com/?cektjx478ewxhpj
Note: ModLoaderMP for Craftbukkit is NOT the same as the client. DO NOT install client version or you will get errors.

SMP Mo Creatures Server Installation :
1. Create a server folder anywhere on your computer.
2. Copy the craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar to this server folder.
3. Extract the SMPMoCreatures_v1.3BETA.7z file to a temp folder.
4. Open up the folder "SERVER - COPY TO CRAFTBUKKIT JAR". Using winrar or 7zip right-click on the craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar and select Open With->Winrar or 7zip. This will open up a window displaying the jar files.
5. Drag(or Copy) net folder to the winrar/7zip window where you see all the craftbukkit folders. When prompted to overwrite, click OK. If done correctly, you should see MoC* files in net/minecraft/server.
6. Extract CB_ModLoaderMP181v2.7z to a temp folder. Drag(or copy) the net and org folders to the same winrar/7zip window where you see all the craftbukkit folders. When prompted to overwrite, click OK.
7. Close winrar/7zip window since jar is now done.
8. Now to get craftbukkit running, Copy the bat file from "SERVER - RUN TOOLS" folder inside your craftbukkit server folder.

Note: If not using jre6 , modify the bat file for jre7. I recommend using Java 6 since it's more compatible with MC. 

9. Double-click it to start the server.
10. Play!

Note: When you first launch SMP mod on craftbukkit it will generate mod_smpmocreatures.properties in server folder. Edit this config file to adjust all settings
that you would normally find in SSP such as spawnrates.

FAQ:

Q. Warning: mod_smpmocreatures$SortedProperties.class is in the wrong folder (won't be loaded).
Warning: mod_smpmocreatures.class is in the wrong folder (won't be loaded).
A. Please make sure all MoC* files and mod_smpmocreatures.class is located in net/minecraft/server within the craftbukkit jar. These files should NOT be located
in any other directory. If you see these files in the root of the craftbukkit jar, delete them. If you still have issues, redownload the craftbukkit jar and reinstall.
Q. Why do I see many of the same mobs no matter where I go?
A. Basically, Notch changed the spawning system to work like this :

	1. There are now prepopulated spawns as chunks are populated. So basically as the world generates new areas(chunks) it also populates spawns based on the locations of those chunks.
	2. Prepopulated spawns are tied to the World seed. This means that if you give someone your seed, they can generate the same creatures(entities) in the same locations of world.
	3. New spawns will still occur as they did in 1.7.3. So if an area is already been generated(chunks have been populated), all new spawns will follow the same method as 1.7.3 did. 

   So those who are seeing the same type of mob a lot it is because you probably just generated a new world or entered a new area.
   If you want to quickly see a variety of mobs, you can use worldedit plugin and /butcher all mobs in radius=). 
   Those who used existing worlds probably didn't notice a change unless they entered a new area.
